Eh up, just thought I'd post the last army list I used.
It is a 1750pt ork list (1749) that I used against space wolves. Didn't have a clue what I'd be facing but took precautions against a possible landraider and a few transport poppers and then prayed for no thunder wolves.
My first game this year :O and I've only just noticed now I'm writing this that I completely forgot to use my boss poles :/
Turned out I didn't have to fear thunderwolves or a landraider and won a thoroughly enjoyable game of capture and control (2bo's to nil). Turns 1 and 2 looked like I'd steamroll, turns 4 and 5 evened the odds for Dan but turn 5 clinched the win. A further 1 or 2 game turns and I could have easily lost if not drawn. Had deployment been different I reckon he could have schooled me
battlewagon and trukk boyz sped towards his objective at break neck speed whilst the rest castled my home objective, by t2 I was on his objective and on turn 4, Snikrot and his kommandos turned up just in time to stop a counter attack. Meanwhile my lootas succeeded in slowing his advance on my objective long enough to put some hurt down.... boomwagonz mostly rolled 1's for don't press dat but 1 good shot decimated a squad of grey hunters, killing a rune priest in the process, who were on route to liberate his objective.
